BEFORE YOU ACT, UNDERSTAND YOUR POSITION
Pay for Judgment. Not a Pitch.
When money, ownership, property, a business, a career, or control is at stake, a generic introductory call is not enough. Before you sign, respond, escalate, settle, or sue, you should understand what the facts and law may mean for your position.
Lieb at Law’s paid consultations are designed to turn a legal problem into an informed decision. The objective is to identify what matters, where material risk or leverage may exist, and which next step deserves your time and resources.
Not sure whether your matter is appropriate for the firm? There is no charge to speak with our intake team about scheduling and potential fit. Individualized legal advice and document review require a paid consultation with an attorney.
Contacting Lieb at Law or submitting information through this website does not establish an attorney-client relationship. Please do not send confidential or time-sensitive information unless instructed by the firm. Review our Website Disclaimer.

Consultation Scope
The current consultation fee is $500 for a reserved appointment of up to 30 minutes with an assigned firm attorney. The fee is fixed and is not prorated merely because the consultation concludes in less than 30 minutes after substantive legal advice has begun.
The attorney begins reviewing the relevant facts and appropriate materials and providing legal advice during the scheduled session. The attorney may not be able to review every document or address every issue within the available time.
Advance attorney document review, written analysis, legal research, and work outside the scheduled consultation are not included. Any additional work must be separately arranged, authorized, and paid for.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
A consultation may be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours before its scheduled start time. A timely cancellation will be refunded less any actual, nonrefundable credit-card processing fee disclosed before payment.
The consultation fee becomes earned 24 hours before the appointment because the attorney’s time has been reserved. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 24 hours, and failures to attend the appointment, are not refunded. Scheduling another consultation requires payment of the then-current consultation fee.
If Lieb at Law cancels and cannot provide an acceptable alternative appointment, the firm will provide a complete refund, including associated credit-card fees.
Separate From Ongoing Representation
The consultation fee is separate from and will not be credited toward future representation. The consultation is not a fee quote for handling the underlying matter. A consultation does not obligate Lieb at Law to accept ongoing representation. Any further representation requires the firm’s acceptance and a separate written legal services agreement.
Payment is ordinarily taken by telephone after intake personnel read the material terms and obtain verbal agreement.
Submitting the Contact Us form does not itself schedule a consultation or create ongoing representation.
