Claudia Cannam, Esq., is an Associate Attorney at Lieb at Law, P.C., where she represents real estate brokerages, businesses, and individuals in litigation, discrimination, and regulatory compliance matters across New York, Connecticut, and beyond. Her practice includes brokerage disputes, sexual harassment cases in housing and the workplace, and compliance matters involving artificial intelligence at the federal level as well as regulatory oversight by the New York Department of State.

Claudia is a trusted advocate for real estate professionals and employees, handling both defense and plaintiff-side cases in state and federal courts and arbitration forums including New Era ADR, JAMS, and the American Arbitration Association. She works closely with brokerages and corporations to implement proactive compliance programs that prevent regulatory violations and foster equitable workplaces.

In addition to her legal practice, Claudia is a New York State Licensed Real Estate Instructor for Lieb School and delivers sexual harassment prevention training for companies throughout Long Island and New York City. Claudia earned her law degree from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and is admitted to practice in New York, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, and Connecticut, with pro hac vice admissions in New Hampshire and the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut.

Outside of her legal work, Claudia serves on the Board of Directors for Tender Loving Cats, Inc., a nonprofit animal rescue organization that facilitates the placement of emotional support and service animals with individuals in need.
